The Controlled Release Society (CRS) is an international organization committed to advancing the science and technology of controlled release and delivery systems, bringing together global experts to shape the future of delivery science. The Korea Local Chapter, in particular, works closely with the Korean Society of Pharmaceutical Sciences and Technology (KSPST) to effectively convey CRS's benefits to local scientists and promote growth through collaborative initiatives. Under the leadership of 2025 board members, President Cheong-Weon Cho, General Secretary Kyung Taek Oh, and Treasurer Yu Seok Youn, the chapter enhances regional scientists' engagement with the global community, making significant contributions to the advancement of delivery science. By maintaining strong connections with other regional chapters, the Korea Local Chapter bolsters CRS's global network, providing scientists with opportunities to connect and exchange insights, thereby fostering global progress in delivery science. One of CRS's key publications is the Journal of Controlled Release, a biweekly peer-reviewed journal and the official journal of the society, dedicated to research on the controlled release and delivery of drugs and biologically active agents. Through these extensive efforts, CRS seeks to push the boundaries of science and technology, driving innovation in the field of delivery science.
