Welcome Remarks

Dear Colleagues and Friends,

On behalf of the Korean Society of Pharmaceutical Sciences and Technology (KSPST), I am delighted to welcome you to the 4th Korea-Japan Young Scientists Workshop on Pharmaceutics. This event is organized by KSPST, with the generous support of the Forum for Pharmaceutical Technology Innovation (FPTI) as the main sponsor, and co-sponsored by the Academy of Pharmaceutical Science and Technology, Japan (APSTJ), the Japan Society of Drug Delivery System (JSDDS), and the Bio-Therapeutics Delivery Society (BTDS). This workshop serves as a valuable platform for young pharmaceutical scientists from both countries to share ideas and build collaborations.

The Korea-Japan Young Scientists Workshop on Pharmaceutics started in 2016 and has played a key role in building strong academic networks between Korea and Japan. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the workshop has not been held for the past five years, with the last event taking place in Tokyo in 2019. We are now pleased to resume this meaningful gathering in Seoul, the vibrant heart of innovation and collaboration. The workshop will take place from June 25th to 27th, 2025, in Gangnam - the dynamic hub of Seoul where dreams come together and the future unfolds.

This year's workshop will provide young scientists with an opportunity to present their research, learn from one another, and foster friendship between pharmaceutical scientists in Korea and Japan. We look forward to seeing active participation from both countries.

Thank you for your support and interest.

Best wishes,

Hea-Young Cho, Ph.D.
President
